Buckland gold project
Dart Mining’s Buckland Gold Project is in north-central Victoria, near Bright. Dart has identified a 17.5km long major stacked shear zone hosting high grade gold in quartz in multiple structures.
The Buckland shear zone also hosts broad zones of disseminated gold mineralisation, and Dart has intersected thick gold mineralisation in drilling 180-200m below surface.
Buckland lies at the eastern structural edge of the Tabberabbera Zone (‘TZ’), an area renowned for gold endowment, and at the southern end of a prolific NW-trending gold-producing corridor (~6.9Moz historic production, according to GeoScience Victoria).
Dart has identified several prospects at Buckland including Fairleys and Queen Jubilee. Recent Rock chip and grab sample exploration results from the project include:
- 8g/t Au – grab sample
- 9g/t Au – grab sample
- 9g/t Au – grab sample
- 1m @ 48.5g/t Au – rock chip across outcrop
- 5m @ 2.66g/t Au – rock chip across outcrop
- 4m @ 9.79g/t Au – rock chip across outcrop
- 14m @ 2.19g/t Au – rock chip across outcrop.
Dart expects to commence Phase 1 drilling at Buckland in the September 2020 quarter.
